Maggie the Corgi is a Therapy Wonder on Wheels

The Walkin' Wheels dog wheelchair available from has assisted many dogs who provide service to their human companions.  Walkin' Wheels have helped with the mobility needs of canines who have recently retired from search and rescue, police work, military service and even a retired guide dog for the blind.

Recently, we were contacted with a request to assist Maggie the Corgi, a therapy dog and founding member of Nature's Edge Therapy Center located in Rice Lake, Wisconsin.  Maggie is 12 years old and suffers from severe hip dysplasia.  Nature's Edge provides speech, occupational and physical therapy for children with a variety of disorders with a special emphasis on treating children and young adults with autism, brain injury and cerebral palsy.

We were honored to be able to assist Maggie with the donation of a Walkin' Wheels Mini dog wheelchair that will enable her to continue serving the children at Nature's Edge Therapy Center.  To learn more about Maggie and other therapy animals at Nature's Edge or to make a donation in support of their work, click here.
