Pittie in Pink with Walkin' Wheels

Kizmet in her Walkin' Wheels dog wheelchair
Introducing Kizmet who is also known as Kizzie.  Kizmet is the beloved mascot at the Mesquite Veterinary Clinic in Mesquite, Nevada.

We wanted to share this update and a few photos that we received recently from this inspiring Pittie in Pink!

"Kizmet came to us 7 years ago after being involved in a car accident on the interstate with her mom. Kizmet was ejected from the vehicle and suffered from a fracture of the back leaving her paralyzed. Her mom did not survive the accident, so Kizzie stayed with us.

Kizmet plays with her best friend Katie
Kizzie had gained some mobility after Dr. Purner adopted Katie.  Katie was a puppy and loved to play with Kizzie.  They would play in the yard, but Kizzie always had the disadvantage because Katie could knock her over, and Kizzie couldn't keep up.

Her new wheels have given her back her mobility and as you can see from the pictures, they are now playing again.  It's very heart moving to see her playing and having fun with her best friend Katie.

Thank you so much!"

Kizmet's story, while inspiring, is also a reminder for everyone to buckle up your pets for safety with a seat belt when they are riding in the vehicle.
