Help My Dog Cannot Get Up and Walk

In addition to dog wheelchairs, such as Walkin' Wheels for Handicapped Pets, there are a variety of other lift and assist devices that pet owners can use to help a dog get to his or her feet.  When a pet suffers from a sudden onset of paralysis and it is unclear whether or not a dog wheelchair will be needed, items such as the Walkin' Support Sling can be used to assist in transporting a dog whose mobility is limited.

With her midsection supported, Nico can walk
Nico did recover her mobility after suffering from an illness that required treatment over the course of a few weeks.  The Walkin' Support Sling provided a safe and reliable method of assisting her during the time that she was unable to get up and walk on her own.

In addition to the Walkin' Support Sling, HandicappedPets.com offers a wide range of harnesses designed for supporting a dog's front and rear limbs.
