Pet Hospice and Palliative Care Options Expanding

As the availability of products to support elderly, disabled and injured pets at HandicappedPets.com continues to expand, pet owners are increasingly inquiring about the end of life veterinary care options available for their pets.  Recently, HandicappedPets.com had the privilege of sponsoring the Second Annual International Association of Animal Hospice and Palliative Care Conference in Denver, Colorado.

The conference provided us with the opportunity to showcase our products to veterinarians who specialize in end of life care for pets while also allowing us to learn more about the full complement of services that a veterinarian who specializes in hospice and palliative care can provide for pet owners.

Dr. Edwina LeMay of A Friend's Farewell is one of many veterinarians we had the pleasure of meeting at the IAAHPC conference.  In the news video below, Dr. LeMay explains more about pet hospice options and how to reach out for assistance with end of life care.  Link available here if video does not display in your browser.
