A Dog Wheelchair from Rainbow Bridge

Our model spokesdog for the program is Mojo
- an Alaskan rescue dog who now runs free at
Rainbow Bridge
It is one of the few comforting thoughts when a Walkin' Wheels dog crosses over to Rainbow Bridge - at least he is now running free again and no longer needs the dog wheelchair that kept him mobile during his injury or illness.  It is also comforting to know that your dog's Walkin' Wheels can mean so much to a rescue dog in need.

When Apollo crossed over to Rainbow Bridge,
his family wanted to honor his memory by
helping a rescue dog in need.  They donated
his wheels to rescue dog Bailey (see below).
There is now a way to honor your dog's memory while providing both mobility and an opportunity to find an adoptive home for a rescue dog in need.  We have created a unique pilot program to assist former customers of HandicappedPets.com with donating used Walkin' Wheels dog wheelchairs.  Walkin' Wheels from Rainbow Bridge to a Rescue Dog is seeking to match up former customers who have a Walkin' Wheels to donate with rescue groups and animal shelters who are assisting a homeless dog in need of a wheelchair.

Rescue dog Bailey, who is currently in foster care
with GRREAT, Inc., recently received his second
hand Walkin' Wheels dog wheelchair when Apollo,
pictured above, crossed Rainbow Bridge.  Apollo's
family donated Bailey's wheelchair, and GRREAT, Inc.
received a 25% one-time discount code towards a
future purchase.
For a limited time, we are issuing 25% discount codes that can be applied towards the purchase of any Walkin' Wheels dog wheelchair accessory item.  To request a discount code, you must be a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in receipt of a donated/second hand Walkin' Wheels dog wheelchair.  If you are a former customer of HandicappedPets.com with a Walkin' Wheels dog wheelchair to donate, you may contact us to request to be put in touch with a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that is currently in need of a second hand Walkin' Wheels dog wheelchair.  We will provide you with a list of organizations in need as we are made aware of their requests for assistance.  All inquires regarding this program should be emailed to the attention of rainbow@handicappedpets.com.  HandicappedPets.com does not accept equipment directly, but we will put you in touch with an organization in need of your used Walkin' Wheels or you may donate your equipment directly to a 501(c)(3) in need.  Email us at rainbow@handicappedpets.com to let us know which organization has received your donation and to request that we send them a one-time 25% discount code for future use.

The one-time use discount code can be applied towards any Walkin' Wheels dog wheelchair accessory items, such as a different size wheel and/or a replacement harness.  It is also good towards the purchase of any item that is manufactured by HandicappedPets.com, such as our Walkin' Wheels pet boots, splints, harnesses, stretchers, drag bags, male wraps, seat belts, slings, hock holders and wrist wraps.

Our program is inspired by the many rescue dogs who have benefited from a donated Walkin' Wheels dog wheelchair.  Our model spokesdog for the
program is Mojo - an Alaskan rescue dog whose story of receiving a second chance from a second hand dog wheelchair is told in the book -
Mojo's Magical Ride: A True Story of Courage, Transformation and Love; An Alaskan Dog Rescue Story
