Three Little Pigs, Two Wheels, One Birthday

Three Little Pigs in Dog Wheelchairs
Chris P. Bacon, JoJo and Noah
It has been an exciting week for handicapped pigs in Walkin' Wheels dog wheelchairs.   Over the weekend, we learned that Noah, a handicapped pig who lives in Australia, was recently rescued from a factory farm and given a second chance at life.
Noah, a resident of Gunyah Animal Healing
Sanctuary, hamming it up and making headlines

Noah now happily resides at the Gunyah Animal Healing Sanctuary and enjoys being back on his feet thanks to many supporters who rallied to purchase him a Walkin' Wheels dog wheelchair.

We have also been marveling at the progress that JoJo the pig has been making on her two wheels as she continues to recover from a groundbreaking surgery to repair ruptured discs that was performed last fall at the Ohio State University Veterinary Medical Center.  With all that movement in her back legs, it appears as though JoJo may not be on a roll for much longer.  We wish JoJo continued success as she recovers from surgery with her Walkin' Wheels dog wheelchair!

And, of course, in case you missed it, Chris P. Bacon celebrated his first birthday on January 13, 2014 with many friends, several grapes and much laughter.  The world's most famous pig in a wheelchair entertained us all with his cake eating antics and celebration with his animal friends on the farm.

These three little pigs do not have to fear the big, bad wolf - he will not be able to catch them as they keep on rolling in their Walkin' Wheels!
