Dachshund Keebler is Ready to Roll into a New Home

Keebler and his Walkin' Wheels dog wheelchair
are searching for a new home.
Keebler, the paralyzed dachshund that has been receiving care at the Humane Society for Greater Nashua, is finally ready to welcome potential adopters. HandicappedPets.com was first alerted to Keebler's situation in early April when staff members contacted us about donating a Walkin' Wheels dog wheelchair to help make him more mobile and potentially more adoptable.

Having provided support for rescue and shelter dogs all around the world through our donation and discount programs, we did not hesitate to lend a hand to a local dog in need. We have been following Keebler's progress through surgeries to correct dental issues and to remove a tumor from his eye.  While he is not a candidate for spinal surgery to correct his paralysis, Keebler has been doing extremely well in his Walkin' Wheels since day one.

We look forward to seeing him roll into a new home. Could it be your home? If you are interested in adopting Keebler, please visit the Humane Society for Greater Nashua to complete an application.
